All of you know me as a yoga nut and I usually do a workshop in different cities to inspire others to start their yoga journey. Recently, I did a workshop with a lovely friend of mine Shea. Like me, she enjoys yoga as well. Yay us!!!! but Not only do we share a passion for yoga, we also love food! ahhhh! how awesome is to know someone like you!
She has a blog called #TheFoodieChronicles where she shares her passion for food and amazing shakes! So we decided to combine our passions together and create a workshop for people who may share the same passion for yoga and food like us!
During this workshop students were able to experience a full 30 minute warm up of basic yoga poses to get them ready for advance poses that they maybe curious about. After that, we spent about 30-45 minutes exploring how to get into and out of advance poses. The ladies were curious about many poses and had fun trying them! Some of the poses included, king dancer, one-legged king pigeon pose, wheel, handstand and 8-angle pose.
After all the yoga fun, Shea provided us with amazing gluten free and vegan friendly snacks and shakes. A sweet potato and cannelloni bean hummus, a tropical flavored smoothie and a chai spiced banana protein smoothie were some of what she prepared us with to end this lovely day. All delicious, nutritious and clean. She is amazing!
Nonetheless everyone had a wonderful time! Of course Shea and I loved spending the afternoon with all these amazing women! Great day for sure! Looking forward to seeing all of you again the future! Namaste!
