Where people come to understand their relationships —
and leave understanding themselves.
Eight years. Thirty retreats. Five countries.
The work has always been the same.
"I was breaking open and didn't even realize I was broken."
I'm Dr. Sanaa Jaman. I built a life full of accomplishments — PhD, MBA, a career I worked hard for — and spent years not understanding why something still felt unresolved underneath all of it. I was distracted by ego, by achieving, by moving forward. I didn't realize I was avoiding.
The cure for pain is within the pain. I didn't believe that until I had no choice but to feel it.
I went to Bali. I went to Peru. I sat in ceremonies that broke me open in ways I didn't expect. I had to face things I had carried since I was 13 years old. And slowly, I learned that healing isn't linear, isn't comfortable, and doesn't look the way you think it will.
That path is what led me here — to shadow work, to retreats, to creating spaces where other people can do the same work I had to do alone. I do this because I know what it costs to keep avoiding yourself. And I know what becomes possible when you finally stop.

People arrive carrying different things — shame, grief, guilt, patterns they can't name yet. Whatever brought you here, there is a path that meets you where you are.
Containers & Retreats
Many people arrive carrying shame, grief, guilt, or a pattern they can't quite name. People-pleasing. Self-abandonment. Relationships that keep hurting. A heaviness they've been managing for years without understanding where it comes from.
The retreats and containers I create are spaces where that weight gets to be looked at — not fixed, not rushed, but understood. You leave with language for what you've been feeling, a new perspective on your experience, and tools to move through what's heavy without being consumed by it.
Your pain is not a problem to solve. It's a teacher. The work is learning to listen to it.

I write about what I've lived — grief, heartbreak, identity, the patterns beneath the love, the parts of ourselves we hide because we don't yet know what to do with them.
This is not a newsletter. It's a place to slow down, read something that names what you've been feeling, and feel a little less alone in it. Essays on loss, the shadow self, what breakups expose, and how healing actually moves — honest, personal, and written after the experience, not during it.
This is where many people find me first. It might be where you start too.

Tru3 Yoga teaches yoga beyond the poses. Not because the poses don't matter, but because what happens in your nervous system, your self-talk, and your relationship with your own body matters more than whether you can touch your toes.
This is yoga as self-awareness — accessible, grounded, and built for people who want to understand what they're doing and why it changes them. Whether you're brand new or want to go deeper through teacher training, the practice is yours to shape.
Your body. Your yoga.

What people carry home
This is not a highlight reel. These are real moments spoken as they were lived — by people who showed up, did the work, and left differently.
"You're going to hold the mirror in front of whoever stands in front of you. I'll pray that people give you a chance — not for you, but for them."
"This is a safe space, a sacred space. I have not been able to find this type of community anywhere else."
"You're more than a teacher. You're a guide of every kind. There is not something like this anywhere else."
"Vulnerability, openness, and truth has to be at the forefront because that is what she helps you bring out so that you can create it in this world."
"I just thought I was going to come here and do yoga. But the exchange, we danced, we laughed. Life was happening the way it should. Just curated."
"Every single time we've met, I've walked away and lived my life a little differently, a little better. Life feels less heavy. It feels hopeful."
