Dr. Sanaa Jaman is a yoga teacher, writer, shadow worker, and international wellness guide devoted to helping others heal, grow, and reclaim their wholeness.
A Journey of Healing
Born and raised in Kuwait, Sanaa developed a deep love for mathematics and problem-solving early in life. During her teenage years, as she faced depression, anxiety, and abuse, math became a sanctuary. That same sense of structure and clarity later drew her to yoga, which became a transformative path of emotional healing and self-discovery. She went on to earn a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida in 2016 —but her soul work was just beginning.
Creating Inclusive Spaces
Her yoga journey began in 2013 as a personal practice and evolved into a calling. In 2014, she pursued yoga teacher training and, by 2015, launched the groundbreaking #DorkTour—a nationwide workshop series designed to make yoga and healing accessible to all. With over a decade of experience, Sanaa is now a respected teacher trainer, curriculum creator, and shadow worker. She specializes in grief, anxiety, and emotional processing, and has trained countless students and teachers across the globe.
Founder of Tru3 Yoga & International Retreat Leader
As the founder of Tru3 Yoga, Sanaa has created a deeply inclusive space for transformation in her home country of Kuwait and beyond. Her work spans continents—offering retreats, teacher trainings, and workshops in Peru, Morocco, Indonesia, South Africa, Costa Rica, and the U.S.—each rooted in shadow work, emotional alchemy, and somatic healing.
Shadow Work & Somatic Wisdom
Sanaa’s approach blends ancient yogic wisdom with modern emotional practices, guiding people to meet their shadows with compassion and reclaim their truth. Through movement, mindfulness, and deep inner work, she helps others transmute pain into power, shame into sovereignty, and fear into self-trust.
Visionary Leadership Rooted in Authenticity
A lifelong student, published author, and visionary entrepreneur, Sanaa is committed to making healing accessible, embodied, and rooted in authenticity. Whether on the mat, in a journal, or within sacred space, her work is a devotion to those ready to remember who they truly are.
